What this product is

PrivateExcelChat is a free private AI chat for Excel and CSV. You upload a spreadsheet, ask questions in chat, and get simple answers.

Session data (honest private)

When you upload a file, we process it on our servers for your active session so we can answer questions about your data. We do not claim your file never leaves your device.

Session spreadsheet tables are deleted when you click Clear my data, refresh or leave the page, or after idle timeout (about 30 minutes).

What we store

• Ephemeral session metadata and spreadsheet tables while your session is active
• Optional Help & Support messages you submit (ticket ID, message text; no email required)
• Basic operational logs needed to run and secure the service

AI processing

Chat questions are sent to our backend, which may call an AI provider to generate answers. Answers shown in the product are simplified (“caveman”) replies. Do not upload data you are not allowed to process with a third-party AI.

Ads

The free product may show advertisements. Until real ad networks are connected, you may see labeled ad placeholders. Ad partners (when enabled) may use cookies or similar tech under their own policies.
